Welcome to the “Mas de la Borne », conveniently situated a stroll away from the village of St Montan, medieval commune at the crossroads of the Ardèche, Drôme, Gard and Vaucluse regions. This stone- built heritage house of Ardèche, made out of pebbles from the nearby Rhône river, proudly stands as a cheerful” provençal lady”, between its traditional roof, the sun and the southern French accent. From its winery background, remain cellars, wine vats, as well as the outlook of the surrounding vineyards. It also embraced silk farming for a while, as shown by the two mulberry trees overshadowing the courtyard, and even market farming with vegetables grown on the terraced gardens, still irrigated by the local spring water nowadays. Respectfully, Martine and Gérard have gradually been transforming the heritage property into a comfortable home of today where they are thrilled to host their guests. To meditate or share, rest or move, at your leisure and own rhythm, take a walk up between the garden low walls and enjoy your stroll… |
